Repotting Services
Repotting & plant care services - Mystic Plant room has you covered with over 30 years experience.

Repotting Schedule
Repotting is available year-round by appointment.
Scheduling a short drop-off appointment helps ensure your plant receives thoughtful care. Allowing time to prepare materials and briefly review your plant and care expectations before service begins.
What to Expect
-
Brief check-in: We’ll review your plant’s needs and your goals for the repot.
-
Bring your plant: Plants and pots from anywhere are welcome. If you don’t have a pot to bring, we’ll place your plant in a simple nursery pot for the service.
-
Care and assessment: I’ll inspect roots, check for pests, clean leaves, trim if needed, and refresh or replace soil as appropriate.
-
Acclimation: After repotting, plants are given a few days to settle in before pickup.
-
Minimum fee: $10. Cost increases with pot size or specialty soil blends (roughly $1 per inch of pot, extra for planters over 8" )
-
Pickup & payment: You’ll be notified when your plant is ready. Payment is collected at pickup. Plants should be picked up within the week.
-
Instructions included: You’ll receive tips for ongoing care specific to your plant.
Every plant is treated like it’s my own, with care and attention to ensure it thrives.
Repotting by Seasons
Spring–Summer
During the growing season, plants are better able to:
-
Recover from root disturbance
-
Adjust to fresh soil
-
Resume healthy growth more quickly
For these reasons, most repotting appointments are encouraged during Spring and Summer
Fall–Winter
Repotting is not recommended, but is available when necessary.
During fall and winter, most indoor plants grow more slowly because of reduced light.
If you choose to repot during Fall or Winter:
-
A seasonal care waiver is required - You’ll receive a link with your appointment confirmation outlining risks and aftercare
-
Repotting is performed with extra care to minimize stress
If your plant has an urgent issue (overwatering, rot, pests, or declining health), repotting may be the best option—and we’re happy to help.
